"Hockey, Love and Superstitious Antics" Makes Its National Premiere.

September 13th, 2017 marked a huge milestone for Hazel House Films, as our comedic short film “Hockey, Love and Superstitious Antics” (HLSA) premiered for the first time on ShortsTV.

HLSA is the story of an overweight and insecure hockey fan with superstitious tendencies who finds himself in need of a plus-one for a charity event. Trying to help, his best friends set him up on a series of terrible dates in a hilarious search for Miss Right.

The film also marks the first in a series of productions in coordination with the National Foundation for Military Family Support, a charity that supports military vets and families in need. The foundation launched a program titled “Hollywood Vets” that partners film and TV professionals with military vets looking for employment transferring to civilian life. Following their on-the-job set training, vets who want to further pursue a career in the film industry will be provided paid film school. HLSA was shot on location in Santa Clarita & Santa Monica, CA.

"Hockey, Love and Superstitious Antics" will continue to air on ShortsTV as part of their rotating schedule, so keep an eye out for upcoming showtimes! The network can be found on the following providers:
